Household Resilience Program

Submissions are now being accepted.

The Household Resilience Program provides funding to help eligible home owners improve the resilience of their homes against cyclones.

Eligible home owners can apply to receive a Queensland Government grant of up to $11,250 to put towards building upgrades.

This is a 2 stage eligibility process. Visit www.qld.gov.au/strongerhomes for more information.

Please note: This program funding is drawn from a limited pool and initial eligibility advice does not ensure that your application will be approved or that future funding will be available.

Supporting documents

You should have the following information ready to support the first stage of your application:

  • rates notice
  • evidence of income

Allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another. Files can be up to 25MB each. We recommend trying to keep files to a maximum of 5MB.

Saving your draft application

You can start your application and come back to it later by saving before you log out. To restart your application, go to My Submissions.

Important: Save as you go through the form and check you have completed every section.

You can also download any application, both draft or completed, as a PDF.

Submitting your application

You will need to complete all compulsory questions before you can submit your application. Make sure you check all the information you’ve entered in your application before you submit it.

Important: You will not be able to change or attach extra support materials to your application after it has been submitted.

If you do not receive a confirmation of submission email, your submission has not been submitted. Email StrongerHomes@hpw.qld.gov.au and quote your application number for support.
