Housing Ideas Bank

Submissions closed at 3:00PM 5 April 2023 (AEST).

The Housing Ideas Bank collects ideas and proposals to improve housing outcomes in Queensland. 

Members of the public and private organisations can submit an idea to the Housing Ideas Bank at any time using this form.

We’re seeking ideas that may influence future government initiatives or improve the provision of housing in our state, particularly those ideas that demonstrate impact or change for the Areas of Action outlined in the Queensland Housing Strategy 2017-2027.

Navigating the form

It is best to view this website in Google Chrome, Firefox v2.0 and above or Safari.

When you’re in the submission form, use the contents box at the top left of each page to navigate, or the page buttons at the bottom of each page.

Saving your draft idea

You can start your idea submission and come back to it at any time by saving before you log out. To restart, go to My Submissions.

Make sure you save as you complete each section of the form.

Submitting your idea

Explain your idea as thoroughly as possible to help us understand the problem and how your idea proposes to solve it. 

All questions with an * must be completed before you can submit your idea.

Important: If you do not receive an email confirming your submission, your idea has not been submitted. Email HHSProgramsSectorEngagement@hpw.qld.gov.au for support.

If you cannot submit an idea online or have limited access to technology, please contact the department to discuss alternative options.
