Housing construction - works for tradies

Submissions closed at 11:00PM 24 July 2020 (AEST).

The Queensland Government’s $100 million Works for Tradies is an important, next-stage investment in Queensland’s Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs, to help the State recover from COVID-19.  This investment will see construction commence on more than 215 new social homes, supporting approximately 240 jobs in the construction sector across Queensland.

Through Works for Tradies, we’ll draw on existing government landholdings, accelerate local construction and identify new opportunities for house and land packages to support the delivery of homes in high-growth areas.
