Southport Supported Accommodation Project

On 8 September 2023 the Minister for Housing announced the commencement of planning for the first stage of a supportive housing development (the West Tower) in Scarborough Street, Southport.

The West Tower proposes approximately 150 dwellings for people in challenging personal circumstances, who will have access to on-site services to support the transition from social-assisted to independent living.  This may include wrap around on-site services, such as allied health, mental health support, counselling services, and employment assistance.

The Department of Housing (DoH) is seeking registered Community Housing Providers (and their partners where applicable) to be contracted for:

  • Stage 1 - Early Operator Engagement: developing an operating model and design brief and preparing an operational funding proposal, in conjunction with DoH, for the West Tower.
  • Stage 2 – Support Service Provider: provision of support services, tenant occupancy, property and tenancy management, in accordance with the operating model developed in Stage 1.

Submitting this Registration of Interest form will ensure your organisation is invited to submit a proposal in response to a competitive Invitation to Offer process to select a support service provider for the West Tower.

Registrations of Interest close at 5pm on 8 November 2023.

Attachments and support documents

If you need to upload/submit attachments they must be saved on your computer, or on a storage device to enable uploading to your registration form.

You need to allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another file. Files can be up to 25MB each; however, we do recommend trying to keep files to a maximum of 5MB – the larger the file, the longer the upload time.

Completing a registration form in a group

A number of people can work on an application using the same log in details as long as only one person is working at a time. Ensure you save as you go.
