Stronger Homes Grant

1. The Queensland Government, through the Department of Housing and Public Works, is collecting your personal information:

• from you via this form, and as otherwise provided by you; and
• from Relevant Persons (defined in clause 2)

in connection with your participation in the Stronger Homes Grant Program (the Program):

• to assess your eligibility to receive funding under the Program;
• to administer and manage the Program, including for compliance and enforcement purposes;
• for the purposes in clause 3 below; and
• for other purposes related, or necessary to give effect to the purposes listed above.

2. Relevant Persons are:

• any Australian or Queensland State or local government agency, authority or instrumentality, including the Queensland Reconstruction Authority;
• the insurer identified by you, or notified to us from time to time; and
• any licensed contractor identified by you or notified to us from time to time.

3. The Department and the Relevant Persons may also use your personal information:

• to contact you in relation to your participation in the Program, including determining eligibility and managing your participation;
• for research, policy and planning purposes to evaluate the outcome of the Program, including, for example, requesting the completion of feedback surveys and contacting you to seek further information to assist in the process;
• to promote or market other grants, programs and services run by the Department or other Australian or Queensland State or local government agencies, authorities or instrumentalities;
• to identify and assess your eligibility for or interest in other grants, programs or services referred to in the above dot point;
• to facilitate internal business operations and fulfil legal obligations.

4. The Department may disclose your personal information to:

• Relevant Persons; and
• the Department’s agents and contractors

to the extent necessary or convenient to allow the Department to fulfil the purposes above (but not commercial purposes).
