Stay Connected Fund

The Stay Connected Fund is a targeted state-wide fund for service initiatives that build connected communities, wellbeing and belonging and reduce social isolation and loneliness experienced by vulnerable people in Queensland.

Round 1 will fund service initiatives for women who are over 55 years of age and experiencing social isolation and loneliness. We are seeking responses which are place-based, person-centred, and culturally responsive. A funding limit of $150,000 (GST exclusive) per proposal applies.

Eligibility

Organisations and individuals over 18 years of age with an active ABN are eligible to apply.

Applicants must deliver the funded services in Queensland and connect services to the housing and support hub for older women.

We encourage applications from organisations that establish partnerships with local businesses to deliver initiatives.

Closing date

Applications close on 14 October 2022.

The department may make minor changes to the application documents to clarify information. You will not be notified of these changes. You are encouraged to refer to the SmartyGrants document list for the most updated versions of the FAQ and Application Guidelines. However, if a significant change is made to these documents that may impact your application, the department will email you to advise of these changes.

Navigate through the form using the form navigation contents box at the top left of each page, or the page buttons at the bottom of the page.

Saving your draft application

You can start your application and come back to it later by saving before you log out. To restart your application, go to ‘My Submission’.

Submitting your application

You will need to complete all mandatory questions before you can submit your application. Make sure you check all the information you’ve entered in your application before you submit it.

If you do not receive a confirmation of submission email, your application has not been submitted. Call your regional contact (see below) or email hhsstayconnectedfund@chde.qld.gov.au and quote your application number for support.
